McCann’s Irish Oatmeal presents The Houli’s Hooley as Paddy tells his brother Bill and Clay O’B how thrilled he is that his office now has a “pop–a-shot” in their workplace! Look for productivity to increase tenfold at Paddy’s office. The lads discuss pop-a-shot and pop culture as they reminisce about their youth.
Then Irish musical impresario Kathleen Keane joins the show to pitch her new radio program, The Craic with Cooney & Keane, which immediately follows The Houli’s Houli on the air every Saturday night from 8-9PM on WSBC 1240AM. Kathleen is an international recording artist on the flute, tin whistle, and fiddle who started out as a prodigy on the northwest side of Chicago when she was 4 years old. She has recently launched one of Chicago’s hottest Irish music “sessions” every Thursday night at The Irish American Heritage Center in coordination with her new radio program. Then she pulls out her tin whistle and shows the boys how it’s done!
