McCann’s Irish Oatmeal presents The Houli’s Hooley and this week Paddy, Bill, and Clay OB turn up the heat on the hilarity of food, without politics! Starting off with the origins of Beef Stroganoff, invented by a New Jersey homicide detective, Jerry Stroganoff,  who one night opined, “let’s throw some noodles on that Salisbury Steak!” After a brief discussion of their precocious grammar school friend Joe Davis and the fine art of “garage hopping” in their youth, the lads spin out of control on a series of very funny riffs including the discovery of a Cheeto shaped like Harambe the ape which netted $100K on ebay, nudie mags, psychiatrist impersonators, fake Reverends, the recipe for gyros, an Irishman who never laughed once in his entire life, vampire facials, and Chris Kennedy running for governor! “How do you like your gyros, Chris?” Michael McDermott plays us out from his album The Westies, with “Pauper’s Song”. This show is an outstanding example of the lunacy that can explode out of one of our favorite Houli’s Hooleys! Lots of laughs in this one gang.
