Brian and Matt Larkin

McCann’s Irish Oatmeal, Mike Haggerty Buick/GMC/Volkswagen and Personal Injury Attorney Caroleann Gallagher present The Hibernian Radio Hour and this week we welcome brothers, Brian and Matt Larkin, to the show. These guys grew up in Queen of Martyrs Parish and both attended Brother Rice. Brian has been with the Fire Dept for 21 years, working the past 5 years as a Relief Lieutenant which brings him to wherever he is needed. He is also on call round the clock to drive teams of doctors for organ transplants. Brian shares some of his stories from the job including the time he responded to a call and his fire truck was driven to the wrong street! Younger brother, Matt, has been with the Cook County Sheriff’s Dept for 20 years, working in the courtroom with Judge Obbish for the past 10 years. He takes us through what his job entails and shares some juicy stories from the courtroom, including one about a defendant who lost his temper. These guys are hilarious, busting each other’s chops throughout their interview! We hear “Christmas Time In Ireland” and “Kerry Christmas Carol” by Paddy Homan and The Noble Call, followed by Obits. Our last stop is at the infamous ‘Houli-Town’. Don’t forget – Our 2nd Annual Hibernian Hooligan Ball is this Sunday, December 15th at McGaffer’s Saloon from 3-7pm. It’s going to be an evening of great music, hilarious comedy and mighty craic!
