Tim Finnegan
McCann’s Irish Oatmeal, Mike Haggerty Buick/GMC/Volkswagen and Personal Injury Attorney Caroleann Gallagher present The Hibernian Radio Hour and this week we welcome a good friend of Houli’s, Tim Finnegan. Tim is a retired Fire Department Lieutenant, having spent 32 years on the force. It’s safe to say the First Responders “bug” runs in the family as his father was a Fire Dept Lieutenant before him and his son currently works as a firefighter also. Tim grew up in Resurrection Parish with his family. He joined the Seminary and graduated from Lewis University afterward. This guy has seen it all – The MGM Grand fire in Vegas in 1980 and the Chicago balcony collapse in 2003 to name a few! He and Houli chat about his Irish heritage, his 25 years with The Shannon Rovers and what he’s getting up to in his retirement. There’s great banter between these two old pals! We hear “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” and “Christmas in Killarney” to get us in the Christmas spirit. Houli brings us up to date with the recent obituaries before our final stop at ‘Houli-Town’. We’d like to wish all our listeners a very Merry Christmas and thanks for listening!
