Bob Sheehy
McCann’s Irish Oatmeal and Personal Injury Attorney Caroleann Gallagher present The Hibernian Radio Hour and we begin this week’s show with our first guest and our sponsor via phone, Bob Sheehy of Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home. Bob has been in the family business for 45 of the 107 years it has been operating. He chats to Houli about how they’re dealing with funerals during this pandemic including enforcing a 10 person limit at visitations. Bob takes us through the history of the family business and both he and Houli take a moment to remember Houli’s old football coach, Frank Maloney. What a great guy. Thanks to Bob for calling into the show!

Tom McKenna
Our second interview this week is one of our favorite past shows with the man crowned, “Chicago’s Funniest Cop”, Tom ‘Crash’ McKenna. Tom is a 34 year retired veteran of the CPD where he worked as a Major Accident Investigator. He grew up in St. Rita’s Parish and attended St. Rita’s High School, followed by Northwestern University. He is a longtime member of The Bagpipes and Drums of The Emerald Society and The Shannon Rovers. When he’s not displaying his quick wit, he’s filling Houli in on his family life. Tom shares some stories from his time on the force and gives us an insight to his life as a stand-up comedian. This guy is a hoot! Houli advises on how to create your own face mask and how to wash your hands properly! He brings us up to date on this week’s obituaries and then it’s our last stop at ‘Houli-Town’. Stay safe, folks and wash your hands!
