Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien

Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, the Cork and Kerry Irish Pub, Flood Brothers Disposal and Chicago Firefighters Union Local 2 present The Houli’s Hooley with Bill and Paddy Houlihan who are joined by their good friend, Clay O’Brien. Clay is back from his family vacation in Florida and the brothers are jealous of his golden tan. “Bill’s thinking again…” – Clay. He gives the others a run-down of how the trip went which included a carsick kid and good old country radio. The high crime rate over the 4th of July weekend is a hot topic this week and the guys discuss what they got up to for the holiday. Clay officially moved into a new house. All these episodes later and Bill is still ‘fantasizing about ideas”. These 3 want people to know that they are big Heart fans. Clay chats about his day out watching the Blue Wahoos play in the Minor League. Bill comes up with a new dish, a ‘fish stick dog’. It’s like a hot dog only with fish! Kevin Costner makes an appearance this week as well as our old pal, Mick Jagger. ‘James Earl Jones turned British’ is a new and very specific impression. Sports Talk with focus on the Cubs and White Sox. “Take care of those feet boys!” – Bill’s advice to Chicago baseball players. We take a musical break with “Toy Soldiers” by Martika. Clay wants people to know that he has feelings! Paddy shares his “Who stole my cigarette?” story with the listeners. The lads reminisce about sneakily smoking as teens. We get some parent discipline tips from the guys. Moustaches and speedboats! “This is a real VH1 pop-up episode!” – Paddy. Paddy has been working on his golf game and he’s hooked now! Golf, bringing families together.  Our favorite trio are up to their usual hilarious shenanigans and end another hilariously wacky show with “Mellow Mood” by Bob Marley.
