Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien
Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, The Cork and Kerry Irish Pub and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley with Bill and Paddy Houlihan who are joined as always by their good friend, Clay O’Brien. Clay returns after a rough week mostly filled with kid vomit. Bill twirled the bowtie last week just like he said he would and it was easier than expected. He saw his fair share of crying and frenchin’ though! The lads explain what a ‘Parade Stalker’ is and Bill asks “What about the freaks?!”. ‘Parade Freaks’ are a whole other genre! The guys suggest some new parade float ideas that represent Irish culture including a ‘Parade of Coffins’ and a ‘Potato Famine Float’… They’re pretty suspicious about the guy with binoculars.. Some other themed floats include Braveheart, Matt Damon and Hooters! Candy throwing – safe or not? The St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are just beginning and the three amigos chat about their plans. Freckles McSniggins is The Parade Stalker and he looks like UFC’s Nate Diaz. He even features in a new children’s book called “Beware of Freckles McSniggins” that has just one chapter… Then it’s over to Sports Talk with focus on the return of baseball and Bears trades. How about this Metaverse? “Can you watch porn on it?” – Clay is asking all the right questions! Zuckerberg and sunscreen do not mix in the new show called “Zuckerberg Goes To Lake Havasu” where Putin plays lead. Now that’s a hit! Virtual Reality is a hot topic this week and the guys speculate what St. Patrick’s Day celebrations might be like in the Metaverse. “We’re about to enter robot times!” – Clay. We take a musical break from the virtual talk with “The Carter Barron” by Oddisee. The Trump impressions are back, hallelujah! The guys speculate Trump may be sneaking McDonald’s burgers to Putin.. What would a Houli’s Hooley Metaverse look like? Clay airs out his grievances with Bono and his weak Spanish language skills. They chat about their favorite Irish food and songs that feature around this time of year. Bill likes his corned beef ‘thick and chunky”! St. Patrick’s Day goals, athletic leprechauns and favorite jockeys are just some of the random topics these 3 cover this week. Jussie Smollett’s recent sentencing is the last topic discussed before ending another great one with “White City” by The Pogues. Have a very Happy St. Patrick’s Day folks!
