The guys begin by remembering those who lost their lives at the Highland Park mass shooting and send their condolences to everyone affected. How do you explain it to our kids? Some serious parental chat this week folks. The lads then discuss their July 4th holiday including the disappointing White Sox loss and letting off fireworks the night before. Paddy’s daughter is returning from her summer sleep-away camp. Why doesn’t anyone say “Ah snap!” anymore? Because these days it’s “Oh no he didn’t!”… Paddy advises the listeners to “stay clear of people who blow stuff up”… Billy thinks he has a certain weird look about him because he was offered some dynamite. What do you actually do with dynamite?! The lads list off their ideas followed by a quick history of the firework from Bill. This leads to Paddy’s story about lighting a snake firework last week. “I’ve evolved as a person..” – Paddy. Bug Talk! Producer Mike poses an interesting question, “Would Christ swat a fly?” and hilarity ensues! Paddy brings us up to date on this year’s inductees to the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame followed by a musical break with Roxy Music’s, “Love Is The Drug”. The lads discover the fact that Bill is a work dork and he shares some business jargon. Some advice for you this summer from The Houli’s Hooley – “Always be snappin’!”. Some new impressions this week including Billy Bob Thornton and Bill is worried about wearing the same outfit twice if they decide to video the podcast. Introducing Jimmy the cameraman! Summer camp for adults, strange daydreams and Goodwill sponsors are some of the other very random topics covered by our favorite duo this week. We end another hilarious one this week with “Master Of Puppets” by Metallica.
