We weren’t expecting Billy to be here tonight but as Paddy says, we’re “tickled” that he’s here.. But he definitely won’t be here next week because it’s time for his fishing trip! Paddy was hoping to get all his therapy out in Bill’s absence but maybe another time. Billy had a very important presentation and tells our listeners about his day at work. Public Speaking and Imposter Syndrome. Paddy’s impression of Paulie Shore is quite British.. “People love SWAG!” – Billy. But you can’t get your swag until the presentation is over! The lads then take a look back over a very successful weekend at the 8th Annual Irish American Movie Hooley which took place in Oak Park. Scripted vs Improv and the struggles of public speaking are some of the topics the brothers chat about surrounding the film festival. Celebrity Talk with focus on film remakes, specifically “Fletch” and the gossip surrounding Jon Hamm starring in it. No one can replace Chevy Chase! What kind of score will it have? Paddy is feeling some sorta way about the whole thing… Why is Jon Hamm considered a comedic actor all of a sudden?! Paddy researches Fletch multiple times a week, folks.. Then it’s over to our weekly segment Sports Talk with focus on the disappointment surrounding The White Sox. “It’s a death rattle now…” – Billy. He thinks most people need to be fired from behind the scenes. The lads also discuss The Bears and Billy shares his excitement for his upcoming fishing trip.
