Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien
Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, The Cork and Kerry Irish Pub, Madden Funds and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley with twin brothers Bill and Paddy Houlihan. The guys begin this week with a shout-out to Producer Mike. The weather is changing and Billy’s wondering when we’re going to get “slapped” by Mother Winter.. What does the Farmer’s Almanac predict? Things in Chicago are certainly changing. “It’s omen-like..” – Paddy. We delve into Parental Advice this week with focus on choosing a High School for your kid. What about a Boarding School? As long as they have a designated smoking area.. ‘The Academy of Lou Diamond Phillips’ is a hot school to attend, apparently.. Boarding School Film Genre – still popular or Nay? Sushi and Cheese sounds kinda gurgly.. Be careful Paddy! Who’s still playing the Lotto?! Paddy only buys his lotto tickets at Puffs and last time he overheard waaay more than he bargained for there.. “Only in Puffs..” – Paddy. Then it’s over to Sports Talk with focus on the Bears’ Justin Fields and the Cubs’ potential newcomers. Bill shares an experience he had downtown recently where he was approached by some street folks and being drenched with some unknown liquid from above… Billy is not “blessed” because of this encounter! There are no bald angels! ‘Bald Angels’ is their new dating app idea. Apparently there’s a Humanoid hanging around the South Loop. We take a well needed musical break with “I Am Waiting” by The Rolling Stones. Street smart versus Book smart. The guys are still geeking out over the High School football games and are looking forward to Thanksgiving. Paddy likes to “vibe people out” but Billy’s distracted by his phone. Living your life through your kids, the Citizen app and professional Pie Boys are some of the other very random topics the Houlihan brothers cover this week. They end this week’s wacky but wonderfully hilarious show with “A Quick One, While He’s Away” by The Who.
