Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien
Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, The Cork and Kerry Irish Pub, Madden Funds and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley with twin brothers Bill and Paddy Houlihan. The brothers begin our first show of 2023 with an overview of their Christmas. Billy popped his Covid cherry over the holidays! Unfortunately he missed out on the family gatherings for Christmas as well as New Year’s. What variants do the vaccinations cover exactly because we’re confused?.. Some good New Year’s resolutions this year include not getting covid and maybe giving up smoking, boys.. What would they talk about on the show though? We share some tips on how to quit smoking this week – Baby steps, folks! What ever happened to the ectomorphing, lads? Maybe this year… The guys share how they rang in the New Year and that leads to some Dolly Parton & Miley talk. Paddy just wants Dolly to “get older already!” and compares her to a “creature getting more plastic-y”. Billy recounts some of his best New Year’s Eve social gatherings where he was most definitely spinnin’ the bowtie! Planet Fitness has brought us some great stories over the years but is it time to finally retire that segment?… Paddy finally fills us in on whether his son got animatronics for Christmas or not? Did Rocky end the Cold War? The Houlihans discuss. “Can you make an animatronic your friend?” – Paddy. They’re getting frustrated with these freakin’ robots ruining future jobs. “The robots are infiltrating!” – Billy. Remember when State Farm dropped Billy? He shares some of his worst car problems from the past year and there have been quite a few. But don’t worry, the Geico gecko is helping! ‘Middle Class Hero’ is their new film idea about an anti-robot savior from the Midwest. Hilarity ensues from this idea! The dread and fear checking your bank balance after the holidays is very real this week.. Then it’s over to Sports Talk with focus on all Chicago Teams. “Everybody in Chicago stinks!” – Billy. The guys take a look back over their past year and mention some of the big life events they experienced. They end this week’s show with some good advice – “Every year that you’re alive is a good year!”. Procrastination, ‘Big Brother’ watching Billy’s driving and Leonardo DiCaprio’s dating life are some more hot topics this week. We end another successful show with Off Broadway’s “Full Moon Turn My Head Around”.
