Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien

Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, Big Corner Tavern and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley with brothers Bill and Paddy Houlihan and their very good friend, Clay O’Brien. The boys are back together and it’s like music to our ears! The hilarity begins right off the top of this week’s show with a look back at last week’s show topics including the unique green horse. And yes, it does exist! Billy shares his experience over the St. Patrick’s Day week as a liquor salesman and explains how it’s his ‘job to drink’. “You have to pace yourself!” He was definitely working but it’s safe to say Billy and his colleagues had a hell of a time doing it! “You gotta work the street, like a prostitute!” – Clay. What about the guy who operates the electric chair? Does anyone think about him..!? Bill debates the pros and cons of being a sober liquor salesman and Paddy hopes to be able to add it to a list of his potential future jobs.. All this beverage talk leads to the lads remembering their canned energy drink called ‘Moist’ and its interesting ingredients. They’re thinking of getting Danny DeVito to be the face of the brand. Keep us posted on how that one goes, lads… Paddy is swiftly humbled by what he refers to as, “the Google machine” in regards to correctly naming members of Classic Rock Bands. Wait.. is the terrible trio seriously considering adding John Goodman’s farts to cans of “Moist”?! Cos that’s what it sounds like… you have to hear this to believe it! It wouldn’t be a true Houli’s Hooley episode without a discussion on Snacks with focus this week on ‘Rap Chips’, where Rap legends feature on the front of bags of chips. Bill is suddenly inspired and belts out a ‘Chip Rap’ of his own, right on the spot! We take a musical break with “The Warrior”  by Scandal and Patty Smyth. These old pals discuss some of their former sports teams’ ‘anthems’ and the excitement surrounding the NCAA in this week’s Sports Talk segment. The impressions are plentiful this week too, including some new and not-so-subtle accent attempts, followed by some bathroom banter.. They also discuss current politics, specifically Ben Savage who is running for Office. Or is it ‘Ruler of the World’? #Corey4President.. There’s plenty of Celebrity chat covered this week with focus on the actors in “Boy Meets World”… and the usual hilarity ensues! We end this week with Van Halen’s, “Runnin’ With The Devil”.
