Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien

Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, Big Corner Tavern and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley and this week is a special one with Bill Houlihan and Clay O’Brien running the show. Paddy is sick this week and getting some rest but don’t worry, this newly formed duo is here to guess what he might be sick with and they delve into the ridiculous right off the bat. Be careful of that Pippin covid strain, folks! Spring is finally here, although the weather has been pretty strange.. Bill and Clay discuss how downtown Chicago has changed and they share some recent personal experiences from their time in the city. Bill has Imposter Syndrome and chats about a recent work event he attended that helped trigger it. He gives a lesson in ‘Scotch etiquette’ as well as some insight on what not to do when eating Asian cuisine. Bill also takes us through a recent night out and the shenanigans he got up to – he’s making friends from around the globe! We take a musical break from the madness with “Low Rider” by War. Who are some of the most famous potheads? What’s the significance of 4/20?! “Everybody’s smokin’ weed!” – Billy. The guys focus on The White Sox in this week’s Sports Talk and they’re sick and tired of ’em.. and The Bears too! “Something’s wrong!!” – Clay. “Billy’s Bat ‘n’ Ball League ” and “Uncle Billy’s Fast Pitch” are just some of the new ideas from the duo this week and we take another musical break with “Pass The Dutchie” by Musical Youth. Pep talking at the Ritz, the seriousness surrounding Little League and taking advantage of your hotel stay are just some of the other random topics covered this week by Clay and Billy. They end a very interesting and different Houli’s Hooley show this week with The Grateful Dead’s, “Truckin””.  Be sure to tune in next week when the trio reunite again!
