Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien

Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, Big Corner Tavern and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley with brothers Bill and Paddy Houlihan and this week Clay is back! We always love when the terrible trio are reunited and they dive right into Fashion Talk at the top of this week’s show, focusing on Paddy’s choice of shirt. Billy’s finished up his sales for this quarter and he’s feeling good! Buying golf putters at Goodwill in the Bahamas and July 4th golfing activities are some of the many other golf-related topics in our first half.. They recount some of their more disrespectful teenage memories which leads to some chatter about the Penn brothers. Fun fact: Harvey Keitel is the star of Footloose 2!  The weather has been weird around Chicago with the smoke from the Canadian fires. and ‘DJ Emphysema’ is a character that arises from Billy’s not-so-fun story about his recent doctor’s visit where he was told he has to quit smoking. Maybe his hair will grow back if he quits?! A man can dream… Clay is encouraging Billy to start a ‘Booze News’ outlet called “40 ounce weekly”. Billy’s to-do list for the remainder of the year consists of repairing his lungs, ectomorphing and selling tonnes of booze! Who does fireworks anymore?! Then we head over to a musical break with “You Could Be Mine” by Guns N Roses. The guys kick off the second half of the show with some Axel Rose impressions and Clay delves into his memories of the last time he drank before he quit. ‘White Ferraris and Firecrackers’ sounds like our kinda party… The trio talk us through their 4th of July plans; Paddy will be cooking ribs on the barbecue that Bill Gates gave him, apparently… The lads end another weird but wonderful show by listing their favorite Channing Tatum movies as well as briefly visiting our favorite segment known as Sports Talk to discuss some of the best baseball movies. We finish up this week’s reunion show with “Living In America”  by James Brown.
