Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien

Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, Big Corner Tavern and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley with brothers Paddy and Bill Houlihan and their old pal, Clay O’Brien. Your ears do not deceive you, folks because the trio are together again this week and we’re in for a real treat as they delve into the madness right off the top of the show. It’s 100 degrees outside and all of Chicago is melting.. “It’s swampy out there..”. How have the lads been surviving this severe weather? They share some advice on what NOT to keep in your car during this heat – things like cans of soda. Clay and Paddy reminisce about the time their car broke down in Wisconsin and they ended up sleeping in a conference room due to a fully booked hotel! The kids are back in school which can only mean one thing – the end of summer is near.. We visit one of our favorite segments, Sports Talk, with focus on the disappointment surrounding The White Sox. Billy’s relationship with the team is tumultuous and like he said – “It’s a sad state of affairs over there right now…” If Zuckerberg bought The White Sox, would our listeners still be fans? They’re asking the hard-hitting questions again this week! We take a musical break with “Hot In The City” by Billy Idol to mark the halfway point of the show. There’s the usual Hair Talk which leads to a new movie idea – “Baldy: A French film (In English)”. Friday Night Football is back and the guys are considering really getting into it this year. They’re even thinking about renting a blimp! Wiping boogers on toll booth workers, the power of the Apple Watch and toothless beauties are some of the other very random topics brought up by the terrible trio on this week’s Houli’s Hooley. They end another wacky one with “The Heat Is On” by Glenn Frey.
