Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien

Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, Big Corner Tavern and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley with brothers Paddy and Bill Houlihan and their old pal Clay is on hiatus this week for his daughter’s birthday. The brothers are heading on family vacation this weekend and they’re looking forward to laying on the beach and getting some well-deserved rest. Paddy comments on the lighter colored hairs in Billy’s beard and they discuss their excitement for going grey..  or white! – does that cover this week’s Fashion Talk? ‘Handsome 60’ is Paddy’s latest music album idea and they return to the topic of Goodwill on this week’s show. The lads are looking forward to this month between work events and the Annual Irish American Movie Hooley on Sept 22-24. “You ever go garbage pickin’?” – Paddy’s asking some interesting questions…We learn that the real definition of ‘loverboy’ is a romantic ass-kisser… The two brothers are excited for Fall sports because the summer ones have been pretty miserable in Chicago… Bill admits his hatred for the Cubs is diminishing simply because of how disappointed he is in the White Sox. We take a musical break to mark the halfway point of this week’s show with “It’s The End Of The World As We Know It” by R.E.M. Bill has been keeping busy from the Fantasy Football Fest to Irish Fest at Gaelic Park… There’s more Flavor Flav chat this week and of course, Ron Jeremy gets a mention! Paddy’s getting used to his ‘bald dome’ but Producer Mike suggests that he may just be experiencing the 5 stages of grief.. Tim Werewolf baseball cards, hiding weapons in belly rolls and Rapper name origins are just some of the many wonderfully wacky topics the two Houlihans discuss this week. They end another great one with “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice.
