Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien
Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, Big Corner Tavern and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley with brothers Paddy and Bill Houlihan and they are joined by “the greatest person in the world”, Clay O’Brien. Paddy asks for some honest opinions on his ‘getup’ this week with his flannel and barn jacket… He’s in a Marlboro Mood! What ever happened to Billy’s Collection? Paddy reckons he and Bill could have been a great design team.. “Can we get a price check on that?” Which of the trio has a cowboy hat? Is there a ‘Fedora Boys Club’ in Chicago? Would any of the terrible trio join the club?! So many hat questions this week, folks! The lads are getting sick of the nonsense in the media, brothers Logan and Jake Paul included! “They’re not very kid-friendly….” Paddy is battling some new health issues with yet another stye on his eyelid and Bill and Clay speculate on how he may have gotten it – it all resorts back to their love of Thrift stores! We take a quick trip to Sports Talk before taking a musical break to mark the show’s halfway point with “Johnny (New Light)” by The Dream Academy. It’s that time of year again where the lads discuss potential Halloween costumes and Producer Mike suggests Paddy dresses as an 80’s Rocker this year. Who else is sick of Taylor Swift ‘cos these guys certainly are! They’d prefer to hang out with Vince Neil, honestly.. “There are no rock bands now!” We take another musical break with Mötley Crüe’s, “Don’t Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)”. To make yourself feel better, Clay’s suggestion is to “turn the news off, turn the Dream Pop down and turn up da Crüe”. ’40’s Guy’, clever ice-breakers and the trio’s favorite rock bands are some of the many topics discussed this week. We end another great one with “If You Leave” by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark.
