Fox’s Pizza, Guinness, Big Corner Tavern and Flood Brothers Disposal present The Houli’s Hooley with brothers Paddy and Bill Houlihan but the great Clay is out this week – he’ll be back! The Houlihan brothers make it official in saying that “Fall has arrived!” and it has brought some seriously great weather with it! We’re not complaining.. Halloween is almost here which means this week’s show is guaranteed to be a spooky one! Paddy even declares that his “brain is getting juicy for spooky”… He and Billy discuss some of the scarier things to have happened to them in the past including Paddy’s broken bone and Bill’s ‘almost’ near death experience… Does it count as near death though? This leads to a deep dive into some of their other actual near death experiences including their seriously close call on the drive home from high school together..  Sounds like they got pretty lucky! These two touch on some of the usual Halloween topics including what costumes they’re thinking of going with this year and the experience shopping for costumes at Goodwill. We mark our halfway point in the show with “The Sweet Sounds of Heaven” by The Rolling Stones. After the break, we head over to Sports Talk where the lads discuss the great Mount Carmel game they attended recently but Billy declares that he can barely speak about The White Sox anymore… What are some of the popular costumes we’ll see this Halloween? Maybe Cocaine Bear and probably some Barbie & Ken too. Believing in ghosts, full-body tattoos and awkward Parent Socials are just some of the other topics the Houlihan brothers touch on this week.
