Paddy Houlihan, Bill Houlihan, and Clay O’Brien

Fox’s Pizza in Orland Park & Mokena, Guinness, Madden Funds and Flood Brothers Disposal and present The Houli’s Hooley with brothers Paddy and Bill Houlihan. Bill is back from his trip to Wisconsin and fills the listeners in on what he got up to there-  mainly thriftin’ at garage sales and losing his Cracker Barrel virginity! Fun fact: there’s a gift store at Cracker Barrel! Bill also gives us a lesson on haggling and he mentions the lady who bought something he had his eye on because she  rubbed it in “the garage sale way”! He shares some of the interesting and frankly weird characters he met while “hunting for gold”.. The possible return of the 30 minute sitcom and the search for the new Steve Urkel are hot topics in the first half of this week’s show which leads to their new ‘Garage Sale’ sitcom idea..  Paddy fills us in on his night at Zanies watching Des Bishop’s stand-up and points out the unfortunate seating arrangement he and his Dad ended up with… they were practically on the stage! “Seen anybody with any eyebrow piercings lately?!” We can always count on Bill to ask the important questions.. Paddy could see him being an ‘earring guy’ aka: Billy Bling! Possibly the latest addition to ‘Billy’s Collection’…? Paddy shares how proud he is of his kids’ athletic skills and the brothers reminisce about their love for ‘plunking’ during their school baseball days.. Chicago sports teams are the main point of conversation in Sports Talk this week. Finding Garage bands for Garage sales days and ‘Thrifty Events’ are just some of the other ideas these two came up with on this week’s special ‘Thrifting’ episode. We end this week’s hilarious reunion show with “Knock on Wood” by Amii Stewart.
