Fox’s Pizza in Orland Park & Mokena, Guinness, Madden Funds and Flood Brothers Disposal present the Hibernian Radio Hour and this week Houli welcomes back an old friend of the show’s, Bob Fioretti. This southside native was former Alderman of the 2nd Ward where he focused on providing high quality education throughout Chicago and helped create more than 8000 jobs. He has worked as Special Assistant State’s Attorney for several counties. and has been involved with more than 500 civil rights cases. The only way is by bringing crime down and having a strong State’s Attorney.” Bob has requested to debate Eileen O’Neill Burke and discusses some of his opponent’s changing positions on her views since running in the primary. It’s safe to say Bob is a fighter and he shares the unbelievable story of his cancer journey which he went through while still working and attending council meetings. The importance of backing our First Responders, the issues within the media and the importance of his faith throughout his extensive career are just some of the other topics these two pals dive into in this insightful interview. Bob is looking forward to election day on November 5th and urges our listeners to get out and vote! Houli then brings us up to date on some upcoming events followed by this week’s obituaries.
