Welcome back to the Houli’s Hooley, where the Sox are tied for first, the gravy expired in 2025, and nobody’s doing okay. Paddy kicks things off with a confession. On a “catch as catch can” night he cooked himself two giant Salisbury steaks. On the side he had week-and-a-half-old taco onions, a can of cola and a jar of brown gravy that expired in March 2025. He did check with ChatGPT first, and the robot told him to go for it. What followed was a full-blown meat dream. Paddy was trapped in a hipster commune in a Frank Lloyd Wright mansion in Oak Park, where everyone wore Birkenstocks, drank Starbucks and told him to quit complaining and “just be Oak Parky.” Clay says it’s basically Soylent Green. Paddy says it beats DMT. Not to be outdone, Clay tells the story of his run-in with Exploding Head Syndrome (yes, it’s real). Then Bill shows off his new all-black look for an outdoor wedding he’s attending in Elburn, Illinois. He’s taking the train, going stag hoping to meet some single ladies. Good luck Bill! Then the boys get scholarly. A spooky British ChatGPT voice walks them through the history of Dr. James Henry Salisbury of Cortland County, New York. He was the 1800s doctor whose minced-beef health cakes eventually became TV dinner royalty. Paddy shares his fancier bacon-grease chopped steak recipe, and a business empire is born: Salisbury Dreams, the frozen dinner that promises wild dreams. (Legally, it promises nothing.) Microwave this episode for seven minutes and dream your ass off.
